Centering Prayer
The Centering Prayer group (that meets on Tuesday mornings) continues to meet from 11am – 12 Noon in the Family Room in the church. Centering Prayer is a contemplative form of prayer in which a person simply gives God consent to work within and take over one’s life. Anyone who desires to pray in this manner may join the group. The Thursday Evening Centering Prayer Group meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month in the Family Room off the gathering space in the church from 6:30 to 7:30pm. The Thursday evening Centering Prayer Group will be taking a two month break. Meetings will resume again the first Thursday of September in 2011. Contact Denise at 846-3843 or dmf724@sbcglobal.net.
Monday Night Prayer Group
Meet at 7 pm in the Family Room in the church for Intercessory prayer. The contact person is Virginia Cavazos (496-3788).
Tuesday Morning Prayer Group
Meet at 6:30am for Bible study and reflection.
Spirit & the Word Community Prayer Group
Meet on Wednesdays at 7 pm in Christopher Hall, # 202 for charismatic prayer. They meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month in the Day Chapel at 7 pm for a Healing Mass of the Family Tree. The contact person is Carmen Frankel (490-7820).
The Spirit and Word Community Prayer Group are on Summer Break from June 22 – July 27. Regular meetings resume on July 27. The next healing mass is scheduled for July 20.
Men’s ACTS Faith Group
Meet on Wednesday at 7:30 pm in Christopher hall, # 201 to pray and share faith.
Small Faith Community
Meet on Thursdays at 9:30 am in the Matt/Mark room to share faith on the Sunday Lectionary readings. Robert Moore (434-0835) is the contact person.
First Saturday Rosary Prayer Group
Meet at 9 am in the Day Chapel to pray the Rosary and have a Communion Service.
