Centering Prayer

The Centering Prayer group (that meets on Tuesday mornings) continues to meet from 11am – 12 Noon in the Family Room in the church.  Centering Prayer is a contemplative form of prayer in which a person simply gives God consent to work within and take over one’s life. Anyone who desires to pray in this manner may join the group.  Contact JoAnn Anders at 210-496-1255 for further information.

The Thursday Evening Centering Prayer Group meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month in the Family Room off the gathering space in the church from 6:30 to 7:30pm. Contact Denise at 846-3843 or dmf724@sbcglobal.net.

 

Monday Night Prayer Group

Meet at 7 pm in the Family Room in the church for Intercessory prayer.  The contact person is Virginia Cavazos (496-3788).

 

Tuesday Morning Prayer Group

Meet at 6:30am for Bible study and reflection.

 

Spirit & the Word Community Prayer Group

Meet on Wednesdays at 7 pm in Christopher Hall, # 202 for charismatic prayer.  They meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month in the Day Chapel at 7 pm for a Healing Mass of the Family Tree.  The contact person is Carmen Frankel (490-7820).

 

Men’s ACTS Faith Group

Meet on Wednesday at 7:30 pm in Christopher hall, # 201 to pray and share faith.

 

Women’s ACTS Prayer Group

All ACTS Sisters are invited to gather for Prayer and Fellowship the first Saturday of each month.  Please bring your Gentle Spirits, Kind Hearts and Beautiful Voices.  Returning Sisters, remember to bring your Blessings Journal.  For more information please contact Dahlia Zavala at 494-3966.

 

Small Faith Community

Meet on Thursdays at 9:30 am in the Matt/Mark room to share faith on the Sunday Lectionary readings.  Robert Moore (434-0835) is the contact person.

 

First Saturday Rosary Prayer Group

Meet at 9 am in the Day Chapel to pray the Rosary and have a Communion Service.
