American Wheelchair Mission
November 30, 2021 at 6:00:00 AM

Due to the COVID-19 lockdown there was no Wheelchair Sunday collection last year. Funds are at an all-time low. The San Antonio Diocese is the still the second largest donor in Texas and St. Mark’s has been the most generous in San Antonio for years. This is an awesome parish. Many parishioners have inquired about where to send donations.

Please ensure donations clearly note Knights of Columbus Council 7613.
Donations by check can be sent directly to the American Wheelchair Mission at:

Here are some ways to fund one wheelchair.

A wheelchair is $150.00. (But any amount is greatly appreciated)
Get several people together to make donations towards a wheelchair. Ten friends giving $15.00 would cover one wheelchair.
Make a gift 🎁 of a WHEELCHAIR as an Advent gift.
Make a donation in memory of a loved one.

Looking for a 501-C3a to help with tax liabilities? Dan Moberg sends letters to all who donate at least $150.00. If you need a letter for tax purposes, contact me.

If you would like to see the Knights in action, go to www.amwheelchair.org/video and click on the “Knights of Columbus” link at the bottom of the page.  While on the site check out the many ways the American Wheelchair Mission provides mobility to those in the most need.
