Monday, February 3 Archbishop Gustavo Garcia-Siller presented the Lumen Gentium Award to Barbara and John Thabet. John has been a catechist and mentor for our Youth Program for many years. For the last 15 years John has led tours to the Holy Land bringing Sacred Scripture alive for hundreds of our parishioners. Barbara was a founder of the Special Needs Faith Formation Program, a first in the Archdiocese of San Antonio. She has been able to foster the sacramental celebration for children and adults who otherwise would not receive their sacraments.
