Our Lady of Guadalupe is a group of people who gather on the first Tuesday of every month in the Shalom Room. Their main purpose is to give honor and praise to Our Lady of Guadalupe. They celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12 with Las Mananitas, with a re-enactment of the story and a Fiesta celebration after the Saturday evening Mass.
The Society of Our Lady of Guadalupe had its origin at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church during the early months of 1999, and its first members were commissioned by Pastor Father Kevin Ryan in September 1999
The mission of the Society is fourfold and reads as follows:
To encourage its members and the Parish family to bear witness to the love of God, live the life of Christ, and honor His most Blessed Mother under her title of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
To promote throughout the Parish community Our Lady of Guadalupe as Patroness of the Americas and Protectress of the Unborn Child.
To instill in each member and Parishioner a devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe through the recitation of the rosary, public and private prayer, and participation in the Eucharistic celebration.
To come together annually during the month of December as members and with fellow Parishioners to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe (December 12).
PRAYER OF CONSECRATION TO OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE
Most Holy Virgin of Guadalupe, Queen, Mother and Patroness of the Guadalupanos; Wholeheartedly I offer You my heart, my family and all my works. I renew my efforts to serve You and Your Most Holy Son everyday of my life. I desire to have everyone know and love you. I will work for the enrichment of Your Church and Your devotion. Grant that the spirit of discord and all that may be harmful to the Society and its members will not be part of my life. As a sign of love, I beg You, oh my tender Mother, that you bless my family, my friends my enemies and myself. Help the Society grow in faith and number. Give courage to our work and grant me the perseverance that, after having served You in this world, I may enjoy eternal glory with You in Heaven. Amen

“Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mystical Rose, make intercession for the Holy Church, protect the sovereign Pontiff, help all those who invoke thee in their necessities, and since thou are the Immaculate Virgin Mary and Mother of the True God, obtain for us from thy most Holy Son, the grace of keeping our faith, of sweet hope in the midst of the bitterness of life, of burning charity and the precious gift of final perseverance. Amen
